Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-09
This page explains what data utilrepo handles and how. The short version: every tool runs entirely in your browser, and we do not collect your inputs.
All processing happens in your browser
Every utility on utilrepo — JSON formatting, encoding, hashing, image resizing, PDF merging, and so on — runs as JavaScript inside the page you have open. The text, files, and other inputs you provide are processed locally and are never uploaded to a server we operate. We do not have a backend that receives, stores, or logs your tool inputs or outputs.
What we store on your device
We use your browser's local storage for a single non-tracking purpose: to remember your light/dark theme preference (key: utilrepo-theme). Clearing your browser storage removes it. We do not set first-party tracking cookies.
Third-party services
If you click the Ko-fi support link, you leave utilrepo and visit ko-fi.com — Ko-fi's own privacy policy applies there. When advertising is enabled in the future, Google AdSense may set cookies and process limited data (such as ad interactions and approximate location) to serve and measure ads. Details and opt-out options are available at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Ads, when present, are clearly labeled and isolated from tool inputs.
Analytics
utilrepo does not use first-party analytics scripts. Aggregate request metrics may be available to us through our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for operational purposes only, with no user-level identifiers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when we add features that change how data is handled (for example, when ads are enabled or new third-party services are added). The date at the top reflects the most recent change.
